Hi, welcome to my website. My name is Hannah, and I am currently a 4th-year student at Clemson University, located in South Carolina in the United States. I transferred to Clemson last semester from Newcastle University, located in the north of England in the United Kingdom. Here in Clemson, I am studying Modern Languages with an emphasis in Spanish as my major, and for my minor, I am studying Travel & Tourism. 

 

I have plans to study abroad next semester in Córdoba, Argentina. I am very excited about this opportunity to reach the maximum level of Spanish. As for my professional career goals, I would love to find a job where I am working with Hispanic people and using Spanish on a daily basis.

 

I am President of the Spanish Professional Society, and this has been a fun opportunity. Since I started my role as President, I have been able to make the club grow. One of the ways that I increased the number of members in this society was by inviting more Hispanic people to participate in this club, even if they are not studying Spanish, because before, SPS was really only for people studying Spanish. 

I have been able to make a community with a mix of people with different majors, but we all share the same interest in Spanish and working with Hispanic people. It has been great—lots of fun—to plan events to get to know and create this community.
